Cherry Season in My Village

Introduction

Every year, there comes a season when my village feels more colorful, lively, and full of happiness, cherry season.

In the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, cherry trees become covered with bright red fruit, turning the orchards into one of the most beautiful sights of summer.

For us, cherries are more than just fruit. They are a part of our village life, our memories, and our connection with nature.

The Arrival of Cherry Season

As summer begins, the cherry trees slowly become heavy with fruit. Branches bend under the weight of fresh cherries while sunlight shines through the green leaves.

Walking through the orchards during this season feels peaceful and refreshing.

Everywhere you look, the trees are filled with color and life.

The cool mountain air, the sweet smell of fruit, and the quiet beauty of nature make this one of my favorite times of the year.

Different Varieties of Cherries

One of the most beautiful things about cherry season in my village is the variety of cherries we grow.

Some cherries are deep red and very sweet.

Others are slightly smaller with a different flavor.

Each variety has its own taste, color, and beauty.

Seeing baskets filled with different kinds of cherries creates a beautiful scene that truly represents the richness of our orchards.

Eating Fresh Cherries

There is something special about eating cherries directly from the trees.

Fresh cherries picked by hand taste sweeter and more natural than anything bought from markets.

Sometimes we sit together beneath the trees, eating cherries while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere around us.

These simple moments create memories that stay in the heart forever.

Selling Cherries and Village Life

Cherry season is also important for many families in the village because it helps support daily life and local income.

People carefully collect cherries, fill baskets, and prepare them for selling in markets.

The season brings energy and activity to the village as families work together in the orchards.

It is beautiful to see how nature not only provides beauty and happiness, but also supports the lives of people living in the mountains.

The Beauty of the Orchards

One of my favorite moments is walking through the cherry orchards during sunset.

The golden sunlight falls softly on the trees while the mountains stand quietly in the background.

The red cherries shining beneath the evening light create a view that feels almost magical.

In those moments, I truly feel grateful for the beauty of my homeland.

Conclusion

Cherry season in my village is more than just a harvest season.

It is a season of beauty, togetherness, hard work, and gratitude.

From eating fresh cherries beneath the trees to sharing and selling them with others, every moment of this season feels connected to nature and simple village life.

Whenever cherry season arrives, it reminds me once again why life in the mountains feels so special.
